Actor, old-time radio voice, Mason Adams dies

Adams, 86, appeared as "Charlie Hume" on "Lou Grant" in the 1970s. Before that, his voice was commonly heard on advertisements and on radio. He was the voice on Smucker's Jelly commercials and voiced "The Atom Man," during several episodes of the "Superman" radio show.
