Sometimes it's interesting to look at DC and Marvel's upcoming releases by the numbers and note the trends.
For example, in the latest batch of solicitations for the respective publishers' April 2008 releases, we see these stats:

DC: 4 (Countdown; Tangent; Death of the New Gods; 52)
