Mojo mag celebrates Sgt. Pepper

The March 2007 of Britain's much-read Mojo music magazine (I pay a ridiculous amount for an overseas subscription. But it's still cheaper than buying it on the news stand here.) spotlights the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band LP, which turns 40 this June.

And, as with every ish, there'll be a special CD included--this one entitled Mojo Presents Sgt. Pepper...With A Little Help From His Friends, with indie acts tackling the tunes. Tracks include:

01. Simple Kid - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band
02. Purto Muerto - With A Little Help From My Friends
03. Circulus - Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
04. Fionn Regan - Getting Better
05. 747s - Fixing A Hole
06. Unkle Bob - She's Leaving Home
07. Bikeride - Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite
08. Stephanie Dosen - Within You Without You
09. Chin Up Chin Up - When I'm Sixty Four
10. Dave Cloud & The Gospel Of Power - Lovely Rita
11. The M's - Good Morning Good Morning
12. Simple Kid - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band (Reprise)
